Brief Introduction of BJTU

Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) is a national key university of China, under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education and jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Railways. BJTU is one of the first universities in China authorized to confer master’s and doctoral degrees autonomously. BJTU is one of the first National 211 Project universities, one of Innovation Bases of the National 985 Project, and one of the 56 universities authorized to establish a Graduate School in China.  

BJTU has 8 national key disciplines, which are Traffic and Transportation Planning and Management, Traffic Information Engineering and Control, Communication 

and Information Processing, Information and Signal Processing, Industrial Economics, Road and Railway Engineering, Transportation Tools Application Engineering, and Bridge and Tunnel Engineering. The University has 120 master’s programs, 60 doctoral programs under 11 first-level doctoral discipline categories, 13 post-doc research stations, and 4 professional degree programs including MBA, Meng, MPAcc and JM. There are 1 national key lab, 2 national engineering labs, 1 national engineering research center, 3 national certification labs, 3 MoE key labs, 4 MoE engineering research centers, 4 municipal key labs, China Integrated Transportation Research Center and China Center for Industrial Economic Security Research. In recent year, the University has been responsible for over 4,000 research projects at national, ministry and municipal levels. 

Welcome to EITRT2019

We are pleased to announce the 4th International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies for Rail Transportation 2019(EITRT2019) will take place in Qingdao, China, October 25-27, 2019, which will bring together worldwide practitioners, leading researchers and postgraduates showcasing state of the art research, innovation and industry practice at all levels and in all process in the electrical engineering and information technologies and sciences for rail transportation. The conference will be hosted by China Electrotechnical Society, State Key Laboratory of Rail Traffic Control and Safety, Beijing Jiaotong University, China. The conference will be organized by Committee of Electrical and Electronic Technologies for Rail Transportation, China Electrotechnical Society, National Innovation Center of High Speed Train, and Electrical Engineering(Journal). The purpose of EITRT2019 is to provide a platform for a huge gathering international researchers, academics and industrial professionals to exchange their research results and experience, to update their knowledge, and to present their new development and practical activities in Rail Transportation. The conference will also provide opportunities for the delegates to communicate face to face, to establish important research networks and business relationships, and to find global partners for future research collaboration. The Conference Proceedings will be published by Springer-Verlag Publisher, Germany. The excellent papers will be recommended to railway relevant journals.

We would like to emphasize that the 1st EITRT2013,  2nd EITRT2015 and  3rd EITRT2017 which were held in Changchun, Jilin Province and Zhuzhou, Hunan Province, and Changsha, Hunan Province, China respectively were awarded as Gold Excellent Conferences by Chinese Ministry of Education Academics.

The event promises a huge gathering of key international experts and speakers from industry, academia and the research community, forming an important networking point for all participants. Keynotes will be given by international and national experts and scholars in the field of rail transportation. During the period of the Conference visits to a number of famous international rail transport enterprises, and national key laboratories will be arranged.
Publications and Indexing
All accepted papers in English will be published in the Conference Proceedings (LNEE, ISSN:1876-1100, EI source) by Springer-Verlag Publisher, Germany, which will be submitted to EI Compendex indexing. High quality papers will be recommended for publication in relevant international journals indexed by SCI.

All accepted papers in Chinese will be published in Electrical Engineering(Journal). Excellent papers will be recommended to in the Journal Transactions of China Electrotechnical Society(EI indexed journal).
